The new terminal consists of a central hall, a pier, and administrative buildings. A 3,281-foot linear pier, equipped with 24 boarding bridges, ensures a minimum connecting time of just 30 minutes enhanced by efficient passenger routes and baggage systems, while offering views of the surrounding landscape. The parking garage, now equipped with 6,400 spaces on 11 decks, offers convenient access to terminal 2. Air wells provide natural light even at the lowest parking deck four levels below the ground and ventilation allows effective exhaust extraction. The design is defined by smooth, self-contained surfaces, large areas of glass, and an emphasis on horizontal lines.
