Program: The 8,545-square-foot fine dining restaurant is situated on the first floor of the Westin Chosun hotel and seats 214 guests.
Design concept and solution: To create an intimate dining room Tihany design suspended subtly lit ceiling panels, one red and the rest white, at different levels. Hafele wood panels, with stainless steel embellishments, line the walls. The custom floor is terrazzo. Nature videos by New York-based artist Bram Tihany are shown on five screens suspended throughout the restaurant.
