This project takes the form of an over 300 foot-long inverted arch with two lateral concrete walls. The symmetrical voids on the underside of the curve provide access to the hotel and its center of events. Circular windows six feet in diameter create a dynamic composition on the façade, accentuated by copper-coated plates pre-oxidized in three tones of green.

A reception, bar and support area occupy the first floor, at the base of the curve. Here, a wall of transparent glass permits a dialogue between the lobby and street. The restaurant, located in the covering, evokes lightness with its metallic structure and use of glass, and offers spectacular views of São Paulo. The event center, in the first floor of the basement, consists of modulated living rooms in an area for 1,500 people. Finally, three floors in the basement provide space for parking and infrastructure.

The interiors echo the exterior's design, with curving corridors, and light-flooded suites from the round windows. Moreover, the rooms located on either end of the building feature a dramatic curving floor, differentiating the space and reinforcing the structure's strong geometric form.

Though envisioned as an urban hotel, the project views the densely packed skyscrapers of São Paulo from a distance. Its bold curve, seemingly suspended from two piers, creates a striking scale shift with the surrounding trees and streetscape. Yet the effect is hardly monolithic. With its playful round windows and sleek, surprising interiors, the Unique Hotel does indeed live up to its name.
