Emerging from the transformation of a commercial building, this hotel is uncluttered by ostentation and defined by spaciousness, light, and balance of architectural features.

Elements of the original structure are brought into focus by a vast open space on the ground floor with cast-iron columns and colossal windows. The Beaux-Arts-style building is presented in a contemporary language in which the raw materials of steel, concrete, stucco, and wood are balanced with the original elements.

The thirty rooms act as architectural laboratories in which occupants are free to modify the rooms at will, using a series of mobile elements: folding screens, draperies, large sliding panels, and furniture on casters. The rooms have an open plan and provide luxury and comfort to visitors.
