Bobrick
Washroom equipment manufacturer Bobrick has set out to demystify new guidelines for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant bathroom construction. Bobrick’s “Planning Guide for Accessible Restrooms” suggests toilet partitions, washroom accessories, and other products to help specifiers create better, user-friendly lavatories. The 24-page guide also includes a “wheelchair maneuverability drawing template” in three scales (1/8” = 1; 1/4” = 1; and 1/2” = 1”) for use in working drawings. Technical Glass Products
Fireglass.com is the sleek new online home of fire-rated glazing manufacturer Technical Glass Products (TGP). The company’s updated website offers architects, contractors, and other product specifiers a chance to browse the company’s product lines in an easily navigable interface. Fireglass.com also offers video clips of TGP products in action and AIA accredited courses that can be taken for continuing education units. And, as an added bonus for visitors, TGP is giving away one iPad each month for the next six months.
