Ranking Chicago

RECORD interviewed a number of Chicago-savvy experts for their opinion on the following question:

In 1991, architects polled by the AIA ranked Chicago first among U.S. cities on the basis of design quality and innovation. Does Chicago still deserve that ranking? Why or why not?
