How do you stop a whirlwind? Writers and editors
like me can take a few minutes from these frantic days and jot our
experiences and thoughts down, even from the road. That’s what
this new online column, “From the Field: Editor’s Journal,”
will do. As I move through the week, I’ll take a few minutes
to sit down and let you in on who I met or what I saw or just what
I’m thinking. Joining me from time to time will be other editors
from the staff of Architectural Record . We’ll update the material
regularly, sometimes daily. The tone of these jottings will be loose
and impressionistic. So hop aboard and let’s get going.
