An Architectural Record Contest
The Philip Johnson Glass House Guessing Game
The Philip Johnson Glass House Guessing Game
![]() |
In recognition of the recently completed renovation of the Glass House, we unearthed photos from this birthday party and asked you to identify some of the familiar (if younger) faces.
And the winner of the Philip Johnson Glass House contest, which ended Aug. 15, is Jeremy Scott Wood, AIA.
He and Peter Papademetriou both correctly identified seven of the guests in the photos, but Wood submitted his earlier, and won.
He is donating the prize, the book Glass House [italics for Glass House], edited by Toshio Nakamura, photographs by Michael Moran (Monacelli, 2007, $95.00) to the library at the Yale University School of Architecture, in honor of the late Franklin D.Israel.
