The Graypants live/work 1,100-square-foot studio occupies the top level a renovated turn-of-the-century brick building, and encompasses an office, prototyping lab, and sleeping quarters. The “cave,” which is the office/bedroom, can be closed off for privacy with a hatch mounted to a steel piano hinge.
