Atoll Helgoland Hotel
Helgoland, Germany, 1999

 Previous

Brooks’ first large solo commission allowed her to rethink the interior spaces of the resort hotel, from the bistro to the bathrooms to the furniture. The bar was formed by carving a wedge from a cylinder. Her “Shelf Life” design for built-in guest-room furniture may go into commercial production.
